Brette earned her Bachelor's degree at BYU in Food Science, Industry Management. She started and ran Hobble Creek Cake Co. in Springville, Utah before beginning Salt Creek Cake in Nephi. She also teaches professional cake decorating classes- thousands of bakers have taken their next steps thanks to the classes and resources offered by Brette.
